No references provided, and lack of significant coverage of the event. 1keyhole (talk) 14:45, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
Merge to Glasgow Cathcart (Scottish Parliament constituency). There is very brief coverage in Construction News and The Herald, and an article in the Times, but that's not enough to satsify WP:GNG or WP:EVENT. Previous elections in the constituency have been covered in the main article, so it would be appropriate to put the results there; after stripping off the unsourced commentary, of course. Liu1126 (talk) 15:40, 2 November 2023 (UTC)- Keep After reading newer comments and another search for sources, I found an article from the BBC and another article from the Times, in addition to the sources I listed in my previous comment. Given these new circumstances, I am changing my recommendation to keep. Liu1126 (talk) 00:19, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

- Comment: By-election are typically considered to be notable. I was able to find a couple sources through a cursory search, such as [1]. Curbon7 (talk) 19:56, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Keep Election to national parliament so implied notability. Coverage exists and has been found. doktorb wordsdeeds 05:08, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

- Keep: It was a by-election to a major legislature which had plenty of coverage at the time in every major Scottish media outlet. There is quite a bit on the BBC news website for example including over its timing. Dunarc (talk) 23:59, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
