Mega Team Elimination Marble Race

I just watched half an hour of little simulated colored balls bounce around on a screen, and I was _riveted._
Also I like the falling patterns a bunch of them made, particularly 17 and 24. Oddly mesmerizing.

Red narrowly avoiding elimination all the way to the final round was really something XD
EDIT: on rewatch, Teal and Red both had a handful of close calls up to the last lap, great race

The water or anti gravity locations are an amazing touch MIKAN!

Can't wait to see how RED lets me down and breaks my heart again. Such a promise for a long and lustrous career just to fall in with the bad crowd. Looking at you Lime. I need a life

My boy Cyan making us proud despite not getting gold. Had some close calls, yet remained strong throughout almost the entire race. It's an honor to be Team Cyan ✊😤🩵

I'm just glad red even made it to the final round, how often is it that Red makes it even halfway through any of these games.

If anyone wants to know, here are the number of teammates each team:
stages 1-13: 100 (4x25, 15-27 teams)
stages 14-18: 200 (8x25, 10-14 teams)
stages 19-20: 300 (12x25, 8-9 teams)
stage 21: 400 (16x25, 7 teams)
stage 22: 500 (20x25, 6 teams)
stage 23: 600 (24x25, 5 teams)
stage 24: 700 (28x25, 4 teams)
stage 25: 900 (36x25, 3 teams)
stage 26 (final): 1500 (60x25, 2 teams)
The end: 3000 marbles, I think?
It was done by counting the columns of marbles then multiply it by the constant height of the container (25).
Note that the number of teammates per team is the largest number that when multiplying it with the number of teams remaining,
such that the total number of marbles doesn’t exceed 3000.

Wow, being a member of Red team made this such a roller coaster of emotions.
Red was starting to feel like an anime underdog protagonist for all the times it _barely_ avoided elimination. I'm more than happy to see a silver medal, though.
I like the way the "Winner" screen looks, with the black on black.

I find it interesting seeing how some of these much more strongly favour the first player and others are much more random in their outcomes.

Still great to see MIKAN going strong after several years of watching making heavily entertaining videos!
Edit: Despite my first bet getting out in the 2nd leg, my other 2 got 3rd & 4th! Pretty good!

You even implemented a leaderboard in the finishing area, where the order of getting a mikan sign determines the order of entering the next stage!? Just wow! The race looks mesmerising for more teammates, more marbles each team!

pink’s dominating the first few legs only to gradually fell off was enough to make a grown man cry

The early part of Leg 24 was super satisfying.
It looked like Orange was going to be eliminated at the start of Leg 13, then it looked like Orange would finish Leg 13 earlier than most of the others, and then Orange actually got eliminated at the end of Leg 13. It was a rollercoaster, for sure.

Great job Cyan! We fought up a good fight 🩵

Video idea: Decisive First AND Last. (requires an odd number of teams at the start)
In each leg, the last team to get their first marble to the finish is automatically eliminated. Then, everyone else continues the leg and, out of the remaining teams, whoever is the last to get all their of their marbles to the finish is also eliminated.

I loved both the physics of those large quantities of marbles as well as the choice of music

I cannot believe Teal won! Good for him! As a side note, Mint losing to Red by ricocheting off one of the moving barriers last second hurt to see. Another side note: Salmon fought so hard in those last legs before losing, what a boss.

As a fan of both Cyan and Teal, I was thrilled that we almost had a final between the two. It's a shame it didn't happen, but at least Teal won.

This is a good one. The logistics of how the next leg starts makes for a consistent race. And I like the rules for how the colors change positions based on which is in first place

Mine got fifth :D and was probably one of the most anxiety inducing colors out there, it stayed low for so many rounds

As a red-team member, I got several heartattacks and my heartbroken like usual. Mikans feud against the goat color continues :-(

My favorite team finished in 4th place! They rarely ever get that far in these races, though it was close a lot of times.

Leg 15 was clutch af. Of course red gets last in the round that leads to the biggest handicap. But still pulled through
